Sammy Maharjan is the founder of M.Z.N. Craft Pvt. Ltd., a Kathmandu-based handicraft and wellness brand dedicated to preserving and sharing the authentic artistry of Nepal with the world.
Born in the cultural heart of Kathmandu within the Newar community, Sammy’s journey is deeply influenced by Nepal’s living traditions, Himalayan heritage, and spiritual craftsmanship. His work reflects a rare blend of cultural preservation and contemporary global vision, positioning Nepalese handmade art within a refined international wellness and lifestyle space.
Alongside his entrepreneurial path, Sammy is a certified sound healing practitioner with extensive experience in vibrational therapy and Himalayan sound traditions. He has conducted over 500 sound healing sessions for international and local clients, offering immersive sound bath experiences designed to support relaxation, balance, and inner awareness.
He has also trained more than 150 students in singing bowl and gong techniques, sharing structured knowledge of sound healing both in Nepal and abroad. His teaching approach emphasizes not only technique but also the deeper connection between sound, mindfulness, and human well-being.
In addition to his work with handicrafts, Sammy operates a dedicated sound healing studio in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, where he facilitates private sessions, group sound baths, and training programs. His practice extends beyond the studio, with healing journeys and workshops conducted for clients in different regions.
